Bought as gift and nephew says works well, simple to use. He did say takes few minutes to pick up satellites so when you get to golf parking lot do search for course as soon as you get there. Also the price was a bit high so 4 stars.

Lo regrese porque no cumple con lo que indica, hay que pagar una aplicación mensual para utilizarlo y no funciona como smartwatch

Been looking for a watch to measure yardages, before I was using an app on my phone for yardages, I am very pleased with this product because it is accurate and easy to use. If all you need is basic yardages from tee to green, bunkers, hazards, this watch is for you. For the price point this is value for money. And most important thing is battery life is amazing!

If you are looking for a golf watch this is a really good one …easy to use accurate in it’s distances and a great battery life …I can go 6 or 7 full games without having to charge the watch..the only down side is I would like more options on wrist bands I prefer a metal band to the original and there are very few options…WCC

I have always used a laser yardage gun to measure distances. It broke this year so I decided that for a similar price, instead of going for the rangefinder, I’d get the Garmin S12 instead. I’ve used it for multiple rounds and I have to say, it is absolutely the right purchase.
What I’ve loved:
1. Tracks distances in all my nearby courses very accurately. Gives me yardage to the front, back, and middle of the green — all I need for ballparking my club selection. It also gives yardage to 200, 150, and 100 yards in. Incredibly useful if you like to play golf from the hole to the teebox, instead of just smacking a driver on every Par 4/5.
2. Track your score, and looks for trends by asking for penalty strokes, misses right or left, # of putts. Found this very useful for looking back on a round to see where I lost strokes.
3. Track your distance. I now know my regular distance with certain clubs by using the yardage tracker — easy to use and intuitive feature that seems quite precise.
4. The battery will last you a month, even if you leave it on. I bought this thing two+ months ago and I’ve spent about 2 hours charging it. It lasts forever.
I am very pleased I bought this over a rangefinder at a comparable price. Has everything you need.

I recently moved and am stuck living out of boxes. I could not find my old gps watch and decided to buy another one. This watch is very light weight, so you sometimes forget you are wearing it. It is very easy to use and locks in on a new course very quickly. The accuracy appears to be the same as my old one, and is usually the same or within a yard of the gps on the cart on courses that have them. This also allows me to keep my score, and save it as well. Other features include distances to hazards and bunkers, shot distance measuring, and a cool sunrise and sunset reader [which helps when you’re trying to calculate whether you have enough time for one more hole!]
What impresses me the most is the length of a charge. On my old gps watch I was able to get two rounds in before recharging, but with this one it barely moved after several rounds! I have read that it can go 30 hours in gps mode before it needs recharging.
I would highly recommend this product.

I had an old S2 that I used for years – until it finally gave out. I don’t need a golf watch with all the bells and whistles, just the basics. Although you can keep score on this watch, I don’t use that feature. Yardage is very accurate, and I was extremely pleased with how slim and lightweight the watch is compared to my old one. I only use the watch for golf and when not in use I turn it off. I have been amazed that the watch holds the charge for weeks at a time when turned off. (The battery on my old watch ran out even when the watch was turned off.)

Watch is easy to read and packed with features found on more expensive models. Perfect for anyone’s game because it gives you what you need not what you don’t need.

Garmin really did well designing this easy to use range finder golf watch. You can play 4-5 full rounds on one charge. (Maybe more, but I’ve charged it for my own comfort zone, as I didn’t want it to die on me in the middle of 18 holes). Gives yardage from the front, middle, and back of green. Preloaded thousands of golf courses, so you’re all set to use it wherever you play. So simple to use and has held up well.
