Watch is comfortable to wear for everyday use. Functions are easy to navigate. The app is OK. It’s a basic fitness watch (counts steps). Display is easy to read with a good back light.
If you’re looking for an every day, watch that you can abuse while tracking steps, this is the one for you.

I bought this watch to wear daily because of its durability. I have always loved G-Shock watches because they are virtually indestructible. This watch looks good, is functional and can stand up to my daily abuse. I tend to be very hard on my products because I am always getting into something, typically outdoors and usually something dirty. Another reason why this watch is sooo good, because it is genuinely waterproof. If you need a watch that is functional and looks good, get a G-Shock!

I work construction and tend to break watches with some frequency. But this watch is still in nearly as good condition as when I first put it on. My only complaint is the auto light. This particular watch is difficult to read in all but a brighty lit environment. So the auto light, which comes on wihen the watch is held at a 45 degree angle, is almost essential to telling the time without using both hands. This function started acting up about a year after I bought the watch. Within 14 months, it had stopped working altogether.

This is my second G-Shock. I also have a DW-6900, which I simply love, but the band is starting to crack after a good 7 years using it almost every day. I would only use my other watches if I had to attend a wedding ceremony or any very formal occasions. I’m a Mechanical Engineer, I used every single day in college, at work or at the gym, but I would take it off as soon I got home (so, eventual showers, rain, shallow diving once or twice, and a lot of sweat ((okay, that was gross, but true)))
Arrived in 48 hours with prime, all certificates and manuals were in the can (the can in the box is another indicator that’s legit). I downloaded the app, registered my watch and it synced everything to me. I didn’t have to adjust anything, you can do it from your phone. It took me over an hour to read the manual and understand all functions, but now it’s cool.
Cool feature: In case you lose your phone at home, hold “D” for 5 seconds and it sends a FIND signal to your phone. It will make it ring so you can find it.

I really like this watch, especially the grey color. I wanted something a bit nicer than what I had for weekends, running errands, etc. I didn’t really get it for any of the features and this is my first G-Shock. I usually wear a Movado for work but don’t want to wear it all the time when I’m outside of work so this is as much style as I need. I know G-shocks have a great reputation so I felt it was worth the price.

Siempre había querido tener un G-Shock, la verdad los puntos fuertes de este reloj superan sin duda a sus contras:
Pros:
-Es ligero y cómodo, no estorba para realizar las actividades del día a día, lo cual se agradece, además que la correa no es exageradamente larga y se ve bien ya puesto en la muñeca.
-Se puede configurar perfectamente mediante la app, alarmas, el tiempo de encendido de la luz, etc, es muy útil la aplicación.
-Es un buen añadido el contador de pasos, en mi caso no lo compré por eso, pero parece que es preciso.
-Por último las características de todos los G-Shock en general, en cuanto a resistencia al agua, sumergirlo y con algunos golpes el reloj no tiene absolutamente ningún problema, es resistente por demás, incluido el cristal mineral que es muy difícil que se llegue a rayar con un uso normal de actividades del día a día.
Contras:
-Obviamente al ser un reloj con pantalla en negativo, la visibilidad con poca luz es muy limitada por no decir nula, ojo, pero la luz de fondo que se puede configurar de uno a tres segundos soluciona este problema, así que en oscuridad la luz del reloj es indispensable y cumple muy bien.
Mientras que en el día al menos yo no he tenido ningún problema al leer el display.
-No es un reloj discreto, a pesar de que no es gigante como otros G-Shock, sí se da a notar por su diseño y grosor de un reloj de trabajo.
Esos serían los únicos dos contras que le puedo encontrar a este reloj, un favorito para mi en cuestión de aguante, funcionalidad y look, el cual me encanta cómo se ve en la muñeca, 100% recomendado.
