I’m a G-shock kind of a person and this certain watch did not satisfy me. Being able to read time in the dark is impossible even with the light assistance. The light is too bright and I’m thinking the scheme do not sync well. However the overall look of the watch is perfection.

I collect G shocks and this is a welcome addition. The smoke clear plastic complements the LCD features on the watch face. Probably the least easy to read of all my watches but not really an issue. The only gripe would be the light is next to useless. Still 5 stars though.

My oldest son turned 21 this year and all he wanted was a G-Shock watch. This one was perfect. It’s sporty and fashionable. The band is slightly smokey looking (described as clear) and the face is chrome with black accents. The watch is neutral enough to match everything, or any color combination. I like the chunky look of it. And the time is displayed with hands and digitally, on the face. And finally, he loves it. I’d definitely recommend it.

It’s a big plastic watch. It’s unique. It’s solid and durable. The light is absolutely useless for reading the digital display, but can light up a dark room at night! I bought it for the style. It’s different and bold. I’m very happy with it.

OK so overall this watch gets 5 stars from me. One, I’m constantly getting compliments on it about how cool it looks. Two, I have yet to see another person with it. So it has to be somewhat rare. The only thing about it I don’t like is the night light on it sucks. You can’t see it even at night. The illumination is terrible. It has one tiny, little light on one side of it. It is in one corner of the watch and attempts to shine across the entire watch. Also, the numbers are kind of hard to read. If you’re like me and you like taking a quick glance at the watch and you don’t wanna stare at the actual hands to get the time, this watch is hard to see and may not be for you. But if you’re just going for overall style and using it more or less as a piece of jewelry than an actual watch then yes this watch is the one for you. The band is like a dark gray-ish clear hard plastic and seems very durable. So, overall I have no regrets in buying this watch. It fits awesome it looks good it’s stylish not many people have it so overall yes I would buy it again.

If you buy this watch and want the clear resin to stay clear, buy UV-resistant clear paint, remove the face guard to paint it, and then replace it. Great G-Shock as usual. Had many compliments on the watch originally, but it has lost its wow factor due to the yellowing. I still love the watch though. The last thing is, you better know how to tell analog time if you want to know the time in the dark because the light on this watch is just enough to reflect off the hands. Had it for about a year at the time of this review.
