I’m a mechanic by trade. I was looking for a watch that can take a punch every now and then. I wash my hands constantly so water resistance was a must deal. All the G-Shock watches I had seen where too big/bulky. This one is the perfect size. My wrists are not that big. But at 45mm +- it just feels right.
I like how you can set the time based on your local time zone/city. And the backlight button is a cool feature.
Overall, I’m satisfied with this watch. I think is gonna last me a good while. Feels pretty solid and well made.

I’m 27 years old and never owned a G shock until now. I was always concerned how small it would make my wrist look. This GA2100 is the perfect balance of durability and sleekness. After owning a few Casio’s, this watch is easy to use. I love how the clock hands match the digital clock as well. I will likely buy another.

This watch is very good for the price with lots of features.
1. The watch’s color scheme is very good with a purple and blue color scheme.
2. It can tell the date day of the week it has a stopwatch and timer and much more.
3. The watch feels a bit small. But that is just my opinion.
Also, the watch is hard to adjust but let me teach you how. Hold the adjust button until The watch beeps. Next, you should see your time zone. Set it by using the start and light buttons. To switch to the next thing to adjust press mode. This should be easy from here it will next show the daylight savings time change that with the buttons. The others should be easy. If you still don’t understand there are many amazing tutorials out there that will teach you how. All in all good watch definitely recommend it.

Item came early. This is a dark grey, violet and blue GA2100VB-1ACR. Its a medium size 45mm diameter, resin body with rubber strap. Very good time keeper, less than +/- 1s in 3 days, hour and minute hands, seconds are in the digital display. Digital has hours, minutes, seconds or month, day, sec. Has day of week dial and digital day select also. Has daylight saving indicator, ‘hands moved’, mute, alarm and signal indicators. WT, UTC, 12/24, DST, stopwatch, timer and alarms. LED illuminator, light-illuminated hands, comfy strap and light weight. Great looking sharp detail with colors. Batteries SR726W included. Breaking in this watch in now. Eventually I will also get the GAB2100-1A tough solar Bluetooth.

The watch is a nice just a little small the picture shows it a lot bigger very hard to read the face. light is sort of weak and needs to be in bright light for the illumination to work at night

I bought this watch for my nephew’s graduation gift. I wanted to get him something that would last for years and still be “cool”. Gshocks are famous for their durability and longevity so this sleek black design worked perfectly for my nephew’s first “proper” watch.

Review from a avid watch collector, the colors are subtle but eye catching the hands move out of the way of the digital screen (as seen in video) making it easy to read. The watch fits the VR style they went for, I’ve worn it for weeks now working in the HVAC field and it takes a beating. The G shock GA-2100VR is the second G shock I’ve owned and it makes me want more. From someone with watches worth hundreds and thousands this $99 watch is one of my favorite. The strap has a easy disconnect to remove them and I may plan on doing the “CasioOak” mod to this watch in the future to make it more dressy. Overall if you’re looking for a watch that will take a beating and 5 minutes later have watch collectors wanting to know where you got it and what it’s called this is the watch.
