Disappointed that the box was broken.

I ordered this watch just so I could have something with me that would tell the time. I don’t plan to wear it – but I could. It is a nice watch for the price. It claims to have a seven year battery – hope that proves to be true. I’m 71, and didn’t have white hair until I tried to set the time and date on this watch. The directions were not helpful. I did finally get both time and date set, but it was purely by accident. I still think it’s a great watch – exactly what I needed.

Perfect watch for someone that only needs it for time and nothing else. Not complicated or confusing.

I bought this watch because I needed something inexpensive and would last a while. I’ve owned several of these watches. I’m pretty hard on watches. I work around cars and am constantly catching my watch on something. If I break the band I have to keep it in my pocket. I have never worn one out, I usually just decide to get a new one. The face may get scratched or cracked but it has always kept good time. Setting the correct date is a little tricky, making sure that the date is correct after it turns over at midnight.

This watch is great for outdoor activities, with a simple interface and durability that makes it optimal for environments where it will get banged up or lost. It is also cheap, meaning that it is no loss if it does get damaged or lost, overall good and simple watch for outdoor and field environments.

I love this watch but it’s a little too big for me. Great quality but the rubber bit holding the strap down broke after only 2 years

    It looks better in person

Basic Casio watch, tells time and date, has alarm and stopwatch functions and an LED light so you can read it in the dark. Works well and is inexpensive, battery lasts 7 years if you don’t use the light too much. This heavy duty version has a sturdier band, chunkier case that better protects the buttons from getting bumped, and it’s water resistant enough for swimming (but not deep diving). Good model for outdoor activities.

After wanting to go back to basics – without the stress of data streaming 24/7 – I bought the Casio W219H in black, as my middle school teenage son has the blue one. He has had it for well over a year and it has held up to middle school shenanigans as well as cross country running.

I have found the watch to be a great fit (I have thinner runner wrists, but there’s enough strap to fit bigger wrists), reliable, accurate, and… basic. I look down and all I see is the time and date. Its beep alarm is loud enough to wake me up and other functions easy enough to learn.

    Pros:
    – Time 12h/24hr, +/- 30 sec/month
    – Date
    – Alarm, daily and hourly beep
    – Stopwatch, with lap splits
    – Back light, amber colored
    – Easy to read numbers and angles
    – Protected buttons to prevent accidental presses but still very accessible
    – Durable, this thing is worn in my family by both a middle school cross country runner and me, a high school principal/runner.
    – Price: I bought it for $18.23 this month, and my son’s for $20.51 a year ago.

    Cons:
    – it’s basic? What you see is what you get.
    – for runners wanting to save the lap splits, there is no memory
    – only one alarm at a time
    * I think that’s it. Really.

There are plenty of other watches that do more. That’s not what this watch is about. This watch is about durability, telling time, waking you up, and maybe telling you how long your run was. That’s it.

This is my new favorite watch.

Un reloj muy bonito, práctico, funcional y barato. La combinación de los colores hace que lusca muy bien. Recomendable.

I absolutely love the Casio W219H! It’s lightweight, comfortable, and perfect for everyday use. The LED light is super handy at night, and the water resistance means I don’t have to worry about it during swims or rainy days. The chronograph is great for timing workouts too. Honestly, for the price, it’s a steal. Reliable, stylish, and practical—highly recommend it!
