Now that I have had this watch for some time now I figured I would do a little bit better of a review.
This G-Shock is really a stunning watch. It definitely isn’t as big as the GWG-1000 it is lighter on the wrist and does sit more comfortably on the wrist as well. It comes with the carbon core guard that the GWG-1000 doesn’t but I believe the 2000 does have.
This has a quad sensor which more G-Shocks need to have. You get the compass, altimeter, barometer/temperature, and step counter. The watch also has the Bluetooth connected app capability, which is fine but I could go without it. In its place I would prefer atomic timekeeping.
This watch is nearly perfect in my honest opinion. If it had the multiband 6 and tough solar this watch would be pretty much unbeatable. I don’t need this to be a fitness watch so all the functions it has is all that’s really needed.. If Casio ended up adding the atomic and solar in the future I would buy one in each color way.
The domed glass is nice but if I remember correctly it is just the standard mineral crystal which is still fine. I have banged this watch almost on a daily basis on this stupid doorknob in our hallway, and not a scratch, crack, dent, or anything. This watch has also been on it’s fair share of adventures and has survived with ease. This watch is just as rugged and durable and capable as the GWG-1000 and just about any other G-Shock.
This watch is lightweight, durable full of functions that can help you out in the right circumstances. With the connected app you can track your steps do mission logs and whatnot. With the app you have close to full control over the watch.
You can’t go wrong with a Mudmaster.

I own so many, too many watches. Most are three handed analog mechanical self-winding watches. But I have not abandoned digital. G-Shock is a range I cannot speak highly enough. Love love love their squares, but I had never been tempted by the well over 50mm+ sort like this MudMaster, and the like, until now.
.
Why did I wait, and deny a chance to enjoy these before? Kicking myself a bit, honestly. I have a 7.5″ wrist, so their bulk is easily manageable for me.
The features and ease of use on this one is very impressive, particularly with the phone app. No need to get into it all, go to YouTube for all the specifics. It rocks! Okay, no solar recharge. I saved a good $100 to not have that, and a new battery every few years is $2
As bulky as it is, the light weigh, fit, and comfort is better than most of my other watches. I happen to love its bad a$$ looks to boot.
Go G!

I should’ve gotten one when they came out a few years ago. I have other G-Shocks but this one is my favorite, by far!!

It’s very sturdy and big face watch. On the wrist it’s little bit heavier but probably can manage. It will catch a eye for sure. Looks like a MAN’S watch or Military watch. Very happy with the looks. On the wrist it hurts sometimes because of its toughness.

Nice watch. Fits well. Easy to read. Nice light button. Great Temp feature, but it is locked in Celcius. We Americans are lazy and would love to have an option to switch to F, otherwise I just “double it and add 30”

I needed a durable watch and it looks good too

I like that the parcel is delivered on time as expected. HOWEVER after one week of using this watch, it suddenly went dead. Buttons isn’t working, blank info screen and lights are pretty much dead. Mind you, I only use it for indoors for a week without any aggressive activities.
Had to return it and refund for it. I love the watch to death but sadly it shocked me.

I find it an amazing watch so far, it’s not as hard and intimidating to learn the features with the Bluetooth app. It simplifies things greatly. For now I will enjoy getting to know the watch and follow up later. So far I love it.

Great looking time piece. All the settings are very straight forward on the watch, and even easier using the G-Shock app. The watch connects on it’s own to the app (if enabled) to keep the time and other stats updated. Although, BOTH the Bluetooth AND the GPS location on your phone need to be ON (not just one or the other) for the watch to connect by itself to the app. I never keep these two turned on, so I have to do that manually every time I want to update the time, daily steps, etc.
Comfortable watch. Not to big, not too small (I don’t have a big wrist).
TO KEEP IN MIND: There are other resellers here on Amazon selling this same watch for less money (I paid $380 + tax). I did my research and those resellers are on the G-Shock’s website list as NON-AUTHORIZED. The issue with that would be warranty and actually getting a genuine G-Shock. Do your research. There’s a list on G-Shock’s website with the authorized resellers (gshock dot com/support/unauthorized)

I’m impressed with this watch so far . I recently purchased a rangeman g shock quad sensor but it wasn’t a watch I wanted to wear and I returned it . This watch I love an guess I’m more of an anolog guy then digital . This to me is a gorgeous watch that I want to wear , I’m in my fifties an it’s safe to say I’ve only had a watch on my wrist for a total of 15 yrs in all of my life . I don’t like wearing a watch period . I got this watch simply as a useful devise in the backcountry an thought I would use it just for that . That being said I thought this would serve as a tool maybe 30 days out of a year an sit on the self the rest of the time . I like this watch so much I an want to wear it everyday , this is to my amazement ! So I love the looks an feel . The features are great an the Bluetooth app makes it easy an a no brainer for someone like me . I connected it to the app an everything was so easy to set up . Yeah I wish it was solar but I’ll except that I’ll have to change the batterie in it every 2_3 years ,oh well my hearing aids needs battery’s every 4 days so no Biggie

This easily has to be one of if not the best watches I’ve ever bought! Love the size, the fit. Great display.
