Really love the watch. I am a watch geek and have watches that are worth as low at $15 to as high as $5k, and this watch really impresses me FOR THE PRICE. Checks all the good boxes for something that costs a few lattes at Starbucks.
Goods (keeping the price of about $30 in mind):
– Finish is pretty darn good, no major flaws in case or dial
– Applied indices!
– Solid metal build all around, has a helf to it, does not feel cheap.
– Chromometer works well
– Accuracy (measured and extrapolated) to about +6 spm (seconds/month)! That’s darn right amazing.
– Rubber strap feels premium and well made, the strap and clasp are both signed.
– Plenty of color and strap choices
– Crystal is slightly domed!!
Bad:
– Tachymetre bezel is not lined up!
– The hour and minute hand could have been a bit more “premium”, they do look a lil cheap
– Lume is “OK” but again, this is a $30 watch
For the price, I can’t complain, this turned out much better than I hoped. I recommend for a tight budget or a fun piece you don’t mind losing or scratching/breaking/abusing. I plan to use mine with no worries whatsoever as I can as easily buy another one every year (if needed) for as long as I am alive and not break a bank haha.

Made the mistake of getting it wet briefly. Water got in thru the glass and bubbled up. Then the watch stopped working. It looks good just don’t get it wet

This is a very good watch and keeps perfect time. I set it once when I received it and it hasn’t lost or gained a minute since. Plus it looks great, I’ve gotten multiple compliments on it from people. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a wrist watch.

On my journey to replace my DECADES old Seiko Sports 100 (H556-5029) – irreplaceable maybe, but … the following are all Amazon purchases.
October 2020 I bought an INVICTA 8926OB. Nice watch, wears well, and looks great, but it never really kept very good time … sometimes as much as 5 ot 10 minutes a day. Finally I gave up on it recently and …
I bought a GOLDEN HOUR “Luxury Stainless Steel Analog Digital”.
Unfortunately the first one I bought, the colour just wasn’t right once I got it, so I returned it! And the replacement broken! The crown never turned the minute hands properly, and after a few minutes trying to set the time, the crown popped off!! Serious! Returned!
So I poked around for a few weeks, and finally went for this BENYAR (I had looked at it before buying the GOLDEN HOUR).
I just got this yesterday – it’s after midnight now!
The band was too long, so I pulled out a coupe links. A bit long still, so I remove one more, slip it on, and close the clasp. And wow! Is it ever comfortable! I do have to redo the links because I should have taken two links, and not one, from the other side of the clasp, but it’s still has a really nice feel. Very happy!
I noticed basically right away how nicely it felt on my wrist. I’ve worn a watch pretty much my whole life and I had the Seiko Sports 100 for DECADES! But it seems to have finally given up the ghost!!
So this new watch, it feels comfortable like I’m used to it because I’ve been wearing it for years.
And the little tool they include to remove the bracelet links works great even though at first appearance, it looks a bit “cheap & plasticky!”,
It would be even better if it was a rotating bezel, but still it’s nice.
I have to say I’m really happy so far.
While it makes a nice piece of jewelry, I wear a watch as a time piece. So I’m going to be checking it’s accuracy in the coming weeks and months … and if I think of i’ll report back what I find.

I purchased this for everyday to replace my Geneva watch, which broke. I was so happy when I got the watch. The quality appears to be very good. The date window is a little small and some of the words on the face are hard to read. I can read them only as long as I have my reading glasses. So part of this may be my own eyesight. For an inexpensive watch this really looks good and the quality is better than I expected. I would recommend.

Arrived quickly on 10/17/22… It is a 1/20 second to 1 hour range chronograph. I bought the metal band version with black dial. The band is a solid links deployment design but does not include length micro adjustment holes in the buckle assembly so I adjusted it a tad loose on my wrist. As received the chronograph hands were not zeroed and I had to follow the zeroing procedure in the minimal manual included. Until that was done the chronograph function did not work correctly. Working fine now. This is a fairly large watch, listed as 45mm diameter. I measured the bezel as 44.7mm and the body at 45.6mm with a digital caliper. Size does not include the crown and chronograph buttons. Body to top of chronograph button is very close to 50mm. Weight after band adjustment is 5.4 ounces. I am amazed that such a overall good looking and solid feeling watch can be made for the price offered on Amazon, and multiple people are still making a profit. Based on the box markings language and listed address I presume that Benyar may be a Germany based company.
The Sapphero gold and black watch version arrived 10/19/22 and is virtually identical to the Benyar except that it is rated for 100 meters water resistance and has diver style markings on the bezel. The inner bezel area between the crystal and watch face has tachometer markings. Non functional markings on the outer bezel as it does not rotate as needed for a true diving watch. The gold color is kind of mid way between yellow gold and rose gold to my eyes.

Tolle Uhr zu einem super Preis. Leider leuchtet das Ziffernblatt nachts nicht so toll. Wahrscheinlich ist das ein Preisproblem. Bin trotzdem zufrieden.
