I like the simple design. The redesign of ‘ol school arms to tell time. To the gradient color to replace arms.
Its major downfall for me is the
lack of 🚫 Water Resistance. I live on the shore of a Great Lake in Michigan. Washing my hands with it on should be avoided.
While looking around for a new watch, this caught my eye. Upon arrival I scanned it’s do’s and donts’.
I couldn’t believe Water Resistance would be an issue. So it is.

I have a thing for handless, analog watches. It’s a fun, unique watch that doubles as a conversation piece. I have gotten several compliments.

As one who has been a bit of a watch snob in the past, I bought this watch due to its novelty. For the price, I wasn’t expecting much. However, I am pleasantly surprised. It doesn’t feel or look cheap. And it does attract attention. It takes a little getting used to in telling time. Aside from its obvious handless design, it has a few other quirks. Specifically, given the lack of markings and hands, one cannot use this to tell the precise time. The rounded edges of the streaks don’t help. But, you can get within a minute or two. The other quirk is the outer ring shows the hour, while the inner ring shows the minute. This is logically opposite handed watches, where the inner (shorter) hand shows the hour, while the outer (longer) hand shows the minute. Trivial complaints, really, given the main attraction of this watch. All in all, I really like the watch and am impressed with its quality and appearance.

The product specs on this page are for a Sliver watch with a stainless steel mesh band and a date/moon phase calendar. That is not this watch, which is the black/purple combination. It is attractive, but has some problems

    1. Hard to read even in room light, unless you angle it just right. The picture must have been taken in bright light, that’s the only way the purple color on the hour band is easily visible. Wish I’d ordered the black/white combo. Should be easier to read, though I probably would have had the same problems with the band and accuracy. Also wish I’d gone with my initial instinct, and returned it.
    2. Inaccurate. It gained about 3 minutes between Sunday and Wednesday.
3.The clasp was very difficult to move on the strap. It took a bit of force to open the clamping piece, then even more to get it to close again in a new position. It is also a difficult clasp to close securely. Mine popped open a couple times. One of the dials had shifted, and there was a little sliver of white showing between them partway around. Turning the stem was not working to reposition them, and I wound up breaking the stem.
That’s on me – after a few minutes, frustration overrode delicacy and I wound up pulling too hard. That’s why I’m not returning the watch. I should have just returned it without trying to resolve it myself. Especially for a watch I wasn’t that happy with anyway!

Going to salvage the battery, and maybe the band, though I don’t fully trust it. Going to avoid this brand in the future. Expensive lesson to follow my gut reaction.

I honestly just wanted something to go with my 22mm NASA band and I think this does the job. It tells accurate enough time and is a fun statement piece for $25, but it looks and feels like a $25 watch. There’s no ticking movement for the seconds hand so in that way I feel like the cheap quartz movement is concealed. But when you wear it you do feel like you’re wearing a $20 bill on your wrist – light, kinda flimsy, will definitely break if you drop it, but you don’t wanna necessarily lose it.

Some details I think are worth sharing:

    – The minute, hour and center dial are actually STICKERS on different layers of glass on top of each other. Sounds cool but it is actually distracting and makes the watch look cheaper. Idk if the second picture does it justice but each layer creates more light refraction and each sticker has its own shadow within the case so that smooth swirl gets interrupted by shadows unless it’s angled at the lighting just right.

    – It IS stainless steel, but it’s hollow stainless steel so it actually feels more like those cheap Casio bracelets you get sometimes, in fact I’d say it feels more like porcelain or ceramic than steel. Hollow, fragile, and kind of unrefined. Feels like a cheap ceramic plate more than a stainless steel watch.

    – The paint scratches off super easily, I played with it for a second with my rings on and some of the rings actually scratched the paint off accidentally. If you get this go for one of the silver ones since it’ll had those scratch marks a little better.

    – I do give it points for being unique. There’s nothing else like it, but keep in mind for $25 you’re really paying for the IDEA of a swirling watch. I think it could’ve been so much more but they spared every expense bringing that idea to life so what you’re left with is kind of this cheap novelty.

I’m sure my daughter will love it so I might give it to her, it’s definitely cool the schoolyard sense of the word and kids would get a kick out of it, but if you want a decent watch on a shoestring budget I’d recommend getting a solid timex for $35. At least with that you’re getting the essentials of a good watch, but if you really want a swirling watch I think this is the only option and unfortunately it looks and feels more like a toy than a watch.

  10. David Ortega

    all good

  11. Derrick Jackson

Very stylish and versatile watch. Time accuracy for business or pleasure.

  12. A. Nonymouse

This particular watch seems to attract a lot of attention. The vibrant pink against the black is very eye-catching. The watch face looks “fluid” and the watch keeps time extremely well. The time is easy to read. The band is comfortable and very easy to adjust.

  13. IKahan

It is showing 2.45 pm when time is 8.20
Why is not adjusting account to standard india time. Tried to adjust the time accordingly but hour hand moving faster then second hand
