This watch was very sleek. Excellent addition to complement your style. The watch is so nice it unfortunately got stolen when I put it down for my work break.

I recently purchased a similarly priced watch from what I thought to be of quality but it wasn’t. However, 2nd attempt I went Bulouva and am 100% satisfied. Solid, well crafted, sleek modern watch. 9.5/10.

this watch is perfect for everyday wear and dressing up a bit! my husband told me this was his first watch without a battery and i thought that was pretty cool! when he first tried it on the band was a bit large but that was a very simple fix!

This is my daily piece now and I love how the watch pops on every outfit that I have!

First off, I love that this is an automatic watch, and I will not need to fuss with battery changes. The movement of the watch shows in an open aperture; which adds to the cool factor. The gold on the case is elegant, and when paired with other gold jewelry, you’ll be sure to stand out. The black leather strap is soft. I appreciate the croc feature. The roman numerals on the dial make the watch look vintage. There are so many details to love.

I tried to get as close as I could with my cell phone camera, as there are some differences between the picture on Amazon and what I received. First, the “Bulova” name and the “Automatic 21 jewel” printing on the Amazon page is white, mine arrived with a rose-gold paint scheme. Second, the 24 hour sub-dial at the 9:00 position is shown with a white hand, what I received has a rose gold hand. Third, the second hand is shown with the trademark “tuning fork” logo, (I did my best with my cell phone but get a good picture of the second hand) what I received is a plain rose-gold hand. At the 12 o’clock hour marker the picture shows the “tuning fork logo, I received a simple “tic mark” at 12 o’clock. In fine print on the Amazon picture there is a model number at the 6 o’clock position. Mine came without it on the face at all.

Perhaps Bulova has changed the watch face a bit after the Amazon photo was posted, if that is the case, I hope that the Amazon picture is updated to more accurately portray the current watch face design.

I really don’t see any of the above differences to make this a deal breaker for me. It still looks wonderful, and there is no trouble with it keeping time.

I’ve always had an affinity for Bulova watches since there was a factory in my hometown. This one is stylish enough to wear in a formal context, but has a tasteful, modern flair to it– like, you’re going to see a matinee performance of the local symphony, but in the recently-opened, ultramodern auditorium, kind of a thing. The color palette is generally striking in how rare watches make good use of brown (or metallic brown) as a color for something other than leather, but then you also get the skeleton element of being able to see the spinny bits inside.

Roman numerals I’m not usually a fan of because their inferior legibility to Arabic numerals, but this one I made an exception for because it was pretty. Also have glowy hands and number markings, so you can read the watch in the dark (even if it’s not as clear as if the numbers were painted as well– we can’t all be perfect, including this watch).

The movement seems decent and functional, but it’s not a particularly high-end one, as indicated by the fact that the rotor is annoyingly loud (plus the relative lack of ornamentation). The movement itself is super quiet when the rotor isn’t moving. I don’t have much experience with Miyotas but this one seems fine, and it’s also easy and super smooth to set the time. They aren’t super accurate so you have to check them frequently, but if you’re within a few minutes and aren’t using this watch to run scientific experiments that go on for weeks at a time, you should be good.

There is one proper complaint I have and that’s the deployant clasp. I don’t have a great reason for hating deployant clasps, but I’m am much more a fan of the old school pin-and-buckle style. The big thing about this one that’s annoying is that the pin to set it in place requires Herculean precision and strength to undo and adjust. It is not an easy thing.

Anyway, this is a great lil watch. Recommended.

It doesn’t fit well. The leather strap isn’t a normal leather strap. It has a metal clasp closure that is weak and doesn’t hold when putting the watch on making it difficult . It never has the right time out of the box. I have to reset it daily. The return policy is scary af. It states that they can arbitrarily deny the refund or diminish it’s amount for any reason without any real definition or protection for the customer. I hate the watch but I don’t want to return it just to get told my refund is less than I paid and I can’t get it back. I truly incredibly regret buying a watch through Amazon without being able to try it on safely and with a solid return policy. Now I’m stuck with it for fear of losing it and my money. Absolute garbage.
