I’m not sure how they can sell this watch for under $6. The price of the battery alone has got to about that much. But they do sell it for under $6 so it was very hard to resist.
I have A LOT of watches. Most of them are cheap pieces of plastic that I don’t worry too much about getting banged up or scratched. I try to wear different watches to work. It’s become something of a game with my coworkers; they want to see what I’m sporting from day to day. It amuses them. So like I said, when I came across this very nice-looking watch for $5.98, I had to add it to my collection.
I really like it, too. It’s actually a good watch to wear at work (I’m a server/bartender). I am constantly getting my hands wet, and this watch has stood up to many brief underwater adventures. The watch face is also handsome and easy to read. I like that the numbers look a little like those on racing cars. The rubber watch band is great. It’s not just a strip of rubber. It has some design to it, which flatters the watch overall. It took me a few wears to notice it because it’s so small, but the watch also has a tiny window on the face that tells you the date (not month, just day).
Truly, there’s only one thing I don’t like about this watch, and there’s one feature I wish it had. The thing that doesn’t thrill me is the flimsy pin. If there’s one thing that seems really cheap about the watch it’s the pin. When you pull it out to set the time, it just doesn’t have any substance behind it. You could probably just give it a little flick and the hands would start spinning like a roulette wheel. Given this, you have to have a steady hand to set the correct time, because when you push the pin back in, there’s a tendency to ever-so-slightly accidentally give the pin an unintended nudge which moves the minute hand a little and you’ve got to start over.
The one thing I wish it had (and I know beggars can’t be choosers) is glow-in-the-dark hands. That would be great, but what more does one expect for $5.98?
But overall, it is a very handsome and classy-looking timepiece. No one would suspect how inexpensive it is. I highly recommend it.

There are some negatives and positives about this AIYISHI Analog Quartz Watch. On the negative side, you’re definitely getting what you’re paying for in the sense that it feels like a cheap watch. The watch case reminds me of the way diecast metal toy cars feel. When I set the time, it seems like the hands are loose so that they move too freely as the watch time is set. The hour and minute hands also do not align perfectly so that the minute hand is about a minute or two ahead. I notice this most when the time is 12 o’clock or 6 o’clock and the hands do not line up.
On the positive side, the watch still works and is being sold for a really low budget price. It has a date calendar that turns over at midnight and glow-in-the-dark luminescent hands. The watch is also easy to read and comes with a thick and sturdy feeling waterproof watch band. So while it is far from perfect, this AIYISHI Analog Watch still does the job for a very low cost.

This watch looks really good. I think it looks better in person than in the picture. It is a little heavy, but it is easy to set and maintain. Overall, it is a very good watch. I love that Amazon ships so quickly as well. I ordered it because it was promised on Saturday and I needed it to comply with dress code at a new job. It showed up on the day promised.
