I like the watch. It looks great.
Unfortunately, mine stopped after having only worn it a couple of times. It comes with a 2 year warranty. The problem is it costs $30 shipping and handling to submit a claim to Sturhling under warranty (for a watch that costs about $90). That’s just ridiculous.

When the replacement came in from Amazon, it wasn’t working when it arrived. I could not even set the time. I have changed my rating from 2 start to 1 star.

I’ve owned this watch for several months. I don’t wear it daily, but it keeps accurate time when in use. It IS mechanical, which can’t be worn leisurely as a quartz. If abused, bumped or dropped, components will fail or break in this type of watch. I own several Stuhrling timepieces, including this one and 3 different pocket watches. They’ve all performed exceptionally without the added cost of haute horology. This is quite a timepiece in looks and performance for the price.

I’m a first time watch buyer so i didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg for a watch, this was a very cool and nice looking watch for a relatively cheaper watch, being able to see the inside of the watch gears and moving parts is very awesome, the band is good quality, i wear the watch most days for the past 2 months and have had no issues, 10 out of 10!

I was a little skeptical to buy this watch after seeing some of the reviews about not keeping time or quality, etc. however, I went out on a limb and bought it, and have been completely satisfied with the watch. Great quality, weather, beautiful, classy, look, and overall a very stunning watch for such a price. keep in mind that it is automatic, so when you’re not wearing the watch, it will not keep time. however, when you have it on and are actively moving around, it keeps time great. Will definitely be buying another Stuhrling in the future

i don’t usually leave reviews, but after reading some of the comments before purchasing i just couldn’t believe the level of intelligence in some and that this needed to be explained. it’s a self-winding watch… meaning it has no battery, for comparison sake imagine a flashlight that you need to wind up before using, if you don’t wind it up, it has no power, if you don’t wear this watch regularly, its not going to have power the next time you use it.
and i truly don’t understand the unwillingness to set the time before using it, if you prefer a battery watch or if you’re a collector of watches like myself, you will have multiple watches that you cycle out of a daily routine, or some on special occasions, when you aren’t using a watch and have it in a display case you should typically pull the dial out anyway so that the battery isn’t just ticking away and will have to reset it before using, if it is not in a display and you’re using it every day it works fine, if not, give it a slight shake then set, it will naturally change up as you go about your day
