It’s a nice watch little big but you get used to it setting up can be a little difficult but the only thing I kind of don’t like is in the LED settings for brightness brightness level all the way up it’s still not that bright but it’s a really good watch I wear it everyday

  2. Scott

    Cheap junk. Save your money

  3. Wollenweber

    My new favorite watch

  4. Daniel

    It’s a pretty beefy watch
So far it’s working as it should

OK this is my third watch that is multi-function in terms of digital compass, altimeter, barometer etc. Previously I’ve had a Casio that sadly got lost. Number 2 was a Highgear Summit watch 25 years old that went through hell & back & still works North is always quickly dead on consistent never drifts as well as the altimeter & barometer graph function very well !!! the but missing the bezel & part off the external face & band. This North Edge, watch # 3 is, very slow to react to direction & north could vary. The pedometer functions don’t interest me but the altimeter, barometric trend, & compass are important to me. These functions are a bit shaky but seem to work on some level but I would not use it on a trek to the Himalayas or even use it for orienting.. On a positive note the watch does keep accurate time otherwise it’d rate it one star. It is also a very intuitive easy to set up & adjust whats needed such as calibration. It is also a great look & fit on my wrist very comfortable. The dial is easy to read & the various functions are very easy to navigate. If the compass function wasn’t so iffy where I can set the watch steady to due north it doesn’t do it quickly and is many times wrong by many degrees although once or twice ir actually found true north (00 degrees), Not a bad buy at $79 for strictly casual use but not as a true orienting in the mountains trip. I need what this watch can do but it has to be done accurately each time an accurate bearing or altitude/barometric is needed. I will return this High Point watch & get either a High Gear Axiom or the more expensive Suunto altimeter watch that’s 3 times the price of the North Edge watch. I really wanted this North Edge watch to be my watch as I really like the way it’s built….very comfortable to wear…very easy to see display….various functions very easy to use,

This watch is built solid. Buttons are easy to push, set and read it. If any thing could be improved it would have to be the light. Just a smigg brighter would be perfect.
