The Casio Men’s Vintage A158WA-1 is a fantastic digital watch that perfectly blends retro charm with modern features! I love the sleek design and stainless steel band, which adds a stylish touch to any outfit.

The water-resistant feature is a great bonus, allowing me to wear it without worry during daily activities. The digital display is clear and easy to read, and the multiple functions, including the alarm and stopwatch, make it incredibly practical.

Overall, I highly recommend this watch for anyone looking for a reliable, stylish, and functional timepiece that stands the test of time!

I was looking for a more expensive watch to begin with but this one just seemed alright for a starter wrist watch. It looks classy and a little vintage/Y2K. An everyday wear.

Immediately I was getting compliments on it, and they were surprised how little it cost. One of my friends ended up getting it and the day after he got it told me some random guy said it was really nice! A random guy at the gym also liked my watch too. Its a pretty popular one so Ive seen others wearing it and even had conversations started just because we were both wearing it!

dont get this if you dont like a popular watch I guess! Set it and forget it so very easy to use! Functionality is awesome! love the timer and alarm.

It’s my first Casio watch, and I’ve been wearing this everyday for 6 months now. It still makes me smile. I’m a guy with thin wrists. This watch fits on my wrists so well, and it weights less than some of my field watches. And have I told you how good it looks. Worth every dime.

Ha. This is a watch of contradictions. Cheap, yet well-made. Small, but noticeable. Old, but it feels so damn new. The watch performs flawlessly and despite mentions of it being retro, it is slick, modern, and even better looking in person.

I will say, however, that I found the included contract unusual and potentially disturbing. When I placed the order, a prompt I’d never seen before appeared, inviting me to read and sign a contract. The document stated rather explicitly that the watch was for “handsome guys” and that I would not be permitted to wear it if I was a “major uggo”. Whatever. I signed the contract and placed the order. What happened next was the truly unexpected…

Two days after placing the order, I received a knock on my door very late at night. I wish I could tell you what time it was, but I did not yet own the watch so it is impossible to say. I peered through my peephole and saw the figure of a tall man in a long coat. Slowly, I opened the door and asked him what he wanted. It’s then I noticed a wristwatch with the largest band I’d ever seen wrapped around his forehead. It was analog, so I couldn’t tell the time. The man introduced himself in a voice so quiet his words were almost drowned out by the ticking of his pretentious headwatch. “I’m with Casio,” he says. Or maybe “Dime sith mass E oh”. Hard to say. Still confused, I asked him again what he wanted. It was then that things took a turn for the worse.

Uninvited, he stepped into my home and grabbed my face with his cold, dry, watch-tuning fingers. I tried to resist and found my body unresponsive. I’ve later theorized that his stupid, unreadable headwatch was in some way hypnotic and temporarily robbed me of my senses. By the dim porch light, he jerked my head around, carefully but methodically inspecting every angle of my face. It obviously wasn’t the first time he’d conducted this sick facial analysis.

Suddenly, he stopped. With me still immobile and deathly frightened, he took a step back, gave me one final, fleeting check and muttered “Acceptable. Seven out of ten.” Having said this, he promptly tapped the dial on his gaudy headwatch and I fell to the ground, exhausted and overwhelmed by my experience, but released from his spell.

The next thing I knew, it was morning and someone was calling for me. “Sir? Sir? Are you okay?” I looked up and saw my door was agape and the mail person stood above me, package in hand. Embarrassed to have been defeated by the mysterious man and his unfashionable watch, I simply nodded and began to stand. Obviously unsettled, the mail person handed me the package as I rose and told me to have a good day. It was my watch! And boy, what a watch it is!

The moral of the story is this: the watch is incredible, and at $20 perhaps the finest entry-level watch money can buy.

However, potential buyer, I caution you this: if you are any less than a 6.5 or 7 out of 10, don’t kid yourself. Perhaps you’ve got more a F91W or G-Shock type of face, and that’s nothing to feel bad about. Not everyone can be handsome! Just be careful – I’ve heard the watchman and his hideous headwatch do not look kindly upon the unattractive.

I bought this watch based on a recommendation after wanting to get a classic looking digital watch. I think it looks great and has quickly become my go to every day watch.

My only complaints are that it is a little small for my wrist and the light is not strong at all. I’d much rather have a bright green night light, but for the price, you really can’t beat this watch.

This watch has three (3) things going for it; cheap, reliable, and accurate. I would say that they are three (3) attributes to look for when purchasing a watch.

I initially purchased this watch when I was browsing for a digital watch that I could use for timing purposes when cooking in my kitchen. I came across this Casio and was immediately thrown back to ten (10) year old me. Granted, this is an updated model (early 1990’s I believe?), but it looks exactly as I remember my 1984 model that was given to me as a birthday gift in either 1985 or 1986. That particular one was black and had a black resin strap as opposed to the stainless steel and silver plastic of this watch.

I loved that watch when I was a kid. Oh sure, the light sucked the big one and could illuminate nothing more than the first digit in the dark; and it appears that nothing has changed. I still can’t tell you what time it is without turning on the room light, except for maybe the hour, but I love it anyway.

And yes, the quality of the materials is cheap. My original black resin eventually tore at the strap from repeated motion of putting it on and taking it off of my wrist. This version has a stainless steel band, but it’s thin and not the highest quality of stainless. That doesn’t matter though because I love it anyway.

It says that it is water resistant, but I’m not 100% sure of that. I don’t think I would go swimming while wearing this watch, and I always take it off when I get a shower. However it’s probably fine and I am not worried about getting it wet. My original took many a dunk in the water and kept on working, so I love it.

The face of the watch scratches easy, just like my original, so it’s probably just glass or plastic. I’m not as rough as I was when I was a kid, so it isn’t something that I am worried about. I paid $22.00 for this watch, so abuse is not something that needs to be a concern. There can be a small amount of glare depending upon the location of a light source, but no worries, I love it anyway.

For $22.00 what you get is an amazing watch that does everything it is supposed to and nothing more. at its price point I could purchase a half a dozen or more of these watches for the same cost as I watch (Invicta) I got for Christmas a few years ago, which was my former daily watch.

I set the time using the website https://time.is and I’m impressed with the accuracy. After four (4) weeks its lost perhaps a few milli-seconds, I don’t know. it definitely hasn’t lost a full second of time yet, that much I do know.

Sure, it’s a little small, but it fits comfortably on my arm, and the strap is easily adjustable for various sized wrists using no tools. The clasp can be moved up and down the strap for a tighter or looser fit.

If this watch is anything like my old black resin version it will also be quite reliable. That old watch was in the bottom of a junk drawer strapless and scratched up, but the battery kept it ticking away for years and years. I can’t put a precise time on it, but if I were to make a guess I would say somewhere in the range of ten (10) years or more.

Eventually I grew up and moved away, but that old watch stayed at the bottom of the junk drawer inside my parent’s house. It’s gone now unfortunately. My mother told me that she cleaned out that drawer years and years ago, throwing away most of what was inside of it. It’s probably accumulated another twenty years or more of junk since the last time it was cleaned out.

Nostalgia can be a powerful motivator, but this is an all around good watch regardless. I love it!

La versión es muy buena lo que se ve tal cual y muy buena calidad

The Casio A158WA-9 is an absolute standout, and it’s surprising how many compliments I receive despite its affordable price. The watch has a fantastic retro aesthetic that reminds me of a 70’s era timepiece. With a fairly hairy wrist, I didn’t bother with the original “razor bracelet” and opted for a rally leather strap instead. This simple swap transformed the watch, making it look 100 times better and much more comfortable.

One common concern I’ve heard is that the watch scratches easily, but I haven’t experienced that at all. I’ve taken it on a trip to Europe, used it on the airplane, and worn it for regular office work without a single scratch on the case. The fit is perfect for my 6.2-inch wrist, making it my ideal daily watch. If you’re looking for a stylish, durable, and affordable timepiece, this one is a true hidden gem!

Very nice watch that can be paired with any outfit. It’s strong, classy, casual, cheap, waterproof, and overall amazing.
